Hey guys, been chipping away at the Encyclopedia for a while now, so I thought I would fill you in on what is new ![]()

The Full Encyclopedia can be found here at http://www.thundercatslair.org/cartoon/cartoonguide/encyclopedia/
Kyle
Will the encyclopedia include the comics as well as the animated series? I have the full run of Star Comics and would be willing to help with info/scans.
Thats a good question.. that I had not considered.
It is definitely something i would like to do but currently all my spare time away from University and Work is spent working on the Animated Series Encyclopedia. It is a massive job which I am miles away from completing.
My fellow team member Chris I am sure would be excited at the prospect of me working on such a project. All I can say right now is that should I reach a point where I feel I have covered the āmajorityā of the characters vehicles in the Animated series encyclopedia. The Comic Encyclopedia may be next ![]()
In the meantime our comic section is growing at a phenomenal rate and does include a large amount of information. So if you havenāt checked that outā¦please do so.
Also thanks for offering you services to this project.. possibly Chris (He-Fan) would be interested in such info/material.. Fire him a Private message ![]()
Thanks
Kyle

Absolutely, Iād be all over creating a special Encyclopedia for the Comic Section, detailing and illustrating all the characters who appeared in the comics (a number of whom were exclusive to the comics, and some, like Willa, who also featured radically different character designs to those seen in the animated series), especially if Kyle were able to do the images in a ācomic bookā kind-of style! ![]()
However, just to elaborate on Kyleās answer, if the question is āWill comic book info be incorporated into the character bios, etc., for the Encyclopedia, along with the cartoon informationā, whilst that decision is up to Kyle, for myself I would say that would not be workable as the ThunderCats comics are their own canon and at times clash quite strikingly with the events of the cartoon series⦠![]()
In terms of scans, etc., I actually have a massive amount of material scanned for the Comic Section of this site, some of which has been completed for a couple of years but just never seen the light of day. Part of the problem is when I created the Comic Section I wanted the info about each comic to be quite detailed (as you can tell if you check out the write-ups for any of the 15 or so issues already written up and added - www.thundercatslair.org/comics). This was fine when I started, but I ended up making something of a rod for my own back in that I donāt have the time to write up all the information about each comic in the detail that I would like on top of working on this siteās Episode Guide, on top of doing the HTML for both⦠![]()
The biggest and most comprehensive area in this siteās Comic Section is our ThunderCats Original Comic Art Gallery, which features well over 100 pages of original artwork used in the creation of ThunderCats comics - Iāve put hours and hours of work into that and Iām extremely proud of it! ![]()
Take care⦠![]()
Dude that was freaking sweet. I wish they were making a Thundercats movie i loved that show. Whoever made that did a really good job. They made it legitimately look good as if it were a real movie. Too bad i could tell what movie 90 of those were from. Good find though.

I think youāre in the wrong thread, my friend. ![]()
Iāve noticed a number of your posts are turning up in the wrong threads, or are randomly off-topic to the threads youāre posting in. Please can I ask you to try and keep your posts better organised. Many thanks for your help. ![]()
