Maybe because Super 7 don’t exactly have a great record producing quality figures with their MOTUC figures and the fact they have greatly increased the price alienating quite a lot of the potential fanbase that wanted new Thundercats figures and the figures they have shown so far are nothing more than re-releases of the Mattel figures with a couple extra, and some what pointless accessories. :00
Again they are wasting a space to reach more people, I don’t see how they can make the line successful if they have nothing to show, that doesn’t help sales or calm the the anxiety of the most faithful collectors. We who have expected this for so many years. There is nothing to celebrate. I suspect that the fact that we do not even have the interview or an line-up may be due to bad news or low sales and only they are to blame, for having handled everything so badly.
It is only the first day…maybe Super 7 will have more to show over the weekend?
I don’t know if I’m wrong, but I’ve never seen late revelations of Super7.
Please refrain from jumping to conclusions like this. The team and I just finished the edited version of the interview. It is coming. You’ll read more about wave 2 in there. Let’s wait for NYCC to finish before making assumptions that no reveals = poor sales. Super7 chose to restart Classics as Ultimates, their figure choices made to hook people back in who didn’t have those. Pumyra and the Kittens are coming too. When, well, the interview will shed some light on that. You don’t have to buy the ones you got. We may not understand their reasons for selecting these four as wave 1 but we on here are just a small percentage of fans - there’s a whole world out there who actually never got hold of wave 1 from Mattel. Speculation is fun and part of the game but don’t forget that there are things that we can’t comment on for various reasons. I’m sure you’ll find the interview’s answers satisfactory, if not at least shedding some light on your concerns.

i agree that jumping to speculations regarding sales has no solid foundation. but i also think that however small of a percentage we are here, we are entitled to express out disappointment regarding no reveals on both powercon and NYCC…in my personal opinion re-releasing a few of mattel wave…maybe lion o and mummy mummra alongside something new…even if it was jaga and grune…as long as it was something new, wouldve have been great to increase the hype…i watched a lot of youtube channels by well known toy reviewers with large followings and pretty much everyone agreed that re releasing only the same figs was a bit of a bummer…and after waiting patiently for powercon and NYCC and not seeing anything new, i strongly feel it was a missed opportunity. For now i would settle for some concept art or at least the list of wave 2. I suppose that the interview coming up can get me excited. I do appreciate the effort in getting the interview, i really do. i just hope it comes SOON…frankly its been too long

It’s as frustrating as Super7 does things, they don’t show progress, they don’t give answers, they don’t use the big exhibition spaces to impact and they don’t feed the fans’ hype, it happened with MOTUC and now with TCC.
Yep, it does seem like missed opportunities. Maybe there are things tying their hands, but I would be out broadcasting this license and showing off plans and ideas every chance I got. If you feed the hype, that’s when stuff really takes off. It seems like a simple idea that you have to get people excited, and to do that you have to show new things.

Brian and Super 7 really should focus on what they are good at, making retro and vintage toys.
I think you guys are expecting a little too much especially since wave two isn’t even going up for preorder until January of 2020 and this is only October 4th. I’m sure Super7 will start Teasing Thundercats wave two before Christmas.. Their Next preorder is in November for the wave of four Conan Movie figures.

As per the mailer sent by S7 last night, I can now confirm there is something newcoming for November, but it may not be TC related. Probably another brand. However, if you read between the lines you’ll start seeing teases of wave 2 in December already! Something to look forward to. I’m not sure why the wave 1 prototypes were absent from NYCC, it may be that they’re back with the horsemen. Yes there are minor changes coming. (Wait for the interview). I’ll catch up with Brian again after the show because he is currently busy. The great thing to me is that there is finally muc activity around the brand and even if we get anxious and excited it shows we care. Ho!!!

You don’t know if that’s all he’s coming with. Sometimes when prototypes are shown not all accessories are shown. When the preorder is up in November we will se everything that comes with each figure
I think Brian took a trip over to china to see whats going on with CG wave 4 and William Stout Collection. He was supposed to do a podcast with a friend of mine during NYCC but had to go out of the country and he wasn’t going to be at NYCC himself.

Once we get the go ahead from S7 it will be up. Again can’t say anything other than that.

Dude chill. You are so impatient about this interview, He will post it when he is able to post it and not before. If he could Sebastiaan would have already posted it, Super7 has to give the go ahead before he can and right now Brian is out of the country. I’m sure it will get posted before the end of the month.
