Yeah, I’d love to to find that TEMPO GIFT BOX! The books do have a seperate cover price of GBP1,25, so were they sold seperatly as well?
Yeah it’ the tempo GIFT box. The evil chaser was also released in the states by Random house..the illustrations are different in both books… £1.25 price tag is on all the books in the gift box too.

I bought this from a dealer in Spain; it’s the original illustration by Martin Sauri for page 9 of “The Spear Of Azzurra”. It’s approx. 9x13 inches. I absolutely love it, it will look awesome framed!!

That original illustration is epic! That’s some pretty gnarly hatching and line weighting! Very nice!

Thanks, fellas! I was very happy to find it
I need a slightly bigger frame, but this is the general idea..

Also got this Play Tray by ICARUS Toys & Games. Never managed to find one for a normal price until now Please ignore the clutter in the background, the tray is to big to get a clean shot on my table..

Okay, this is me going overboard: I’m really into the various VHS releases from all over the world and am only 1 short of a complete UK collection. So I’m always looking for the missing piece. I came across this:

It’s obviously the first video in the “The Video Collection” collection I already had a copy, but there are differences that I found interesting enough to get it;
[ul]
[li]It was released in a clear case (verified by the original owner);[/li][li]The info and lettering on the label is very different and the “U” classification symbol is the first official BBFC-designed symbol from 1985, meaning this is at least a second release or re-release of the tape as the other release has the generic “U” symbol:[/li][/ul]

There is another release out there that I’ve had my eyes on, which I’ll get shortly.
And here is a spoiler of something that should be coming my way soon.

Any guesses?

Nice addition!
As for the spoiler, is that a giant chest in the background? Snarf perhaps?

I remember seeing this tape in a Co-op supermarket in Ballymena around 1995. I didn’t get it though as I had the episodes recorded off TV and I had found another VHS tape that I wanted instead. I believe the tape I got was either M.A.S.K., He-Man or Space Sentinels.

I see what you mean… kinda reminds me of Snarf-Ra, right? It is something else, though…
This is the rarest UK VHS (not) to be found. It was released by Wynd-Up Records Ltd. and only available through Wynd-Up Records, as they were a wholesaler/distributor. This is only the second copy I have ever seen and I’m very happy to get it! It’s also the last VHS I needed to complete my UK VHS collection (not including all the re-releases and label variations).

Nothing too spectaculair, but some cool stuff nonetheless
I finally got #3 of the Stick ‘n’ Lift Sticker cards from Nabisco’s Shreddies cereal, completing my “set” of six.

Picked up one more of the booklets from the Tempo Gift set.

And, to cap off my Mattel collection, I got an extra, complete Jackelman (my favorite mutant) so I can finally recreate the scene from one of my favorite episodes; “The Mountain”

I gave him the Sword from BanDai’s 6" Lion-O. It’s a bit big for that Lion-O, but I feel it looks good with Jackalman

On the less-licensed side of things, I also got the LEGO-ish ThunDerCats. I have to say, although a bit crude these figs are quite charming

And in the vintage catagory, I got this cool lampshade!
