Found an oddity in the VHS catagory… So, volume 8 of The Video Collection is All That Glitters / Trial Of Strenght and the catalog number is [B]LR 2248.

The label on the tape looks lke this:

I have a copy, that came in the same/correct volume 8 box, with this label:

and it has this label also

Now, it’s supposed to be Volume 8, but it says 6. But the catalog number corresponds with volume 8. The actual episodes on the tape are The Doomgaze / The Terror Of Hammerhand and those episodes ARE on ThunderCats volume 6 that was packed in a 2-pack with volume 7:
Here is a comparison between the 2 labels, with the 2-pack tape below.

As you can see volume 6 has a different catalog number.
So it’s a volume 6 tape, with two volume 6 labels with volume 8 catalog numbers, in a volume 8 case.

I found a weird Thundercats VHS over the weekend at a garage sale for 25 cents! I think it may have been a personal recording. I’ll try and get some pics.

@thunderianroyalguard thanks for posting the All That Glitters and Trial of Strength VHS pic. I was always pretty sure I got these episode copied from a VHS I rented instead of recorded off TV, but I wasn’t sure if these had been released on VHS.

I just got this today and it’s one of my favorite items in my collection. I’ve been after this for years and I’m super stoked to finally have it; the Playful Astral Moat Monster! (sorry for the blurry pics)

It’s much heavier and sturdier then the LJN AMM and the colors are much darker ad more vibrant and ofcourse the white nails

Yeah, that poster is the centerpage in the Dutch ThunderCats comics. #1-6 were released for the Dutch & Flemmish market.

I’ve been after a clock for some time now. The last one I saw was damaged . Yours looks great nice find. I’m planning on getting all the bedroom stuff they did… bed set, curtains, light shade, money box ,clocks ECT..

Got this figure today. It’s obviously unlicensed and from Mexico, so it’s MUNRA, not Mumm-Ra. I was really happy to spot it and having it in hand he’s even more impressive. As far as I can tell it’s a 100% original sculpt, and a pretty detailed one at that. I assume he is supposed to have a helmet, and the hole + the lack of sculpted details on the back, tell me he also had a cape. The loincloth is a seperate piece, made of a slightly softer material then the rest, which is pretty heavy and solid. He has 6 POA.

That’s what I thought too. I really enjoy these type of Knock-Offs. There are so many terrible. poorly executed bootlegs and KO’s that collectors often dismiss the high quality, unique ones. It blows my mind that somewhere in the late 80’s or early 90’s someone in Mexico actually produced these original ThunderCats figures.
