Such a shame as Greece is a lovely place. You’d think things like new toys would sell and help boost the economy-every little helps!
Completely understand leaving and finding work overseas. People in the uk have no issues with foreigners coming here to work-it’s the ones who come over and sponge off the system and taxes! Hate it

@luketommo2 I already moved to the UK. I’m (re)studying in London and I’m selling property in Greece in order to buy a house here… obviously not in London though, I’m not a millionaire

ThunderCats are at Argos according to the website! Looks like they are only stocking the ThunderTank, Vehicles, Role Play Sword and 4" standard figures at the moment.
They just send out figures randomly? That’s lame if you order online…
Yep thats how Argos have always sold action figures. When I was randomly collecting the 2002 MOTU figures, I’d go in store and they would bring out all the characters they had for me to choose one. It’s an hassle, but Argos are the closest toy store to me. Otherwise for The Entertainer and Toys R Us it means some travelling is involved.
So yeah not really possible to order online. Even as a parent ordering for your child, you might end up getting a figure your child already has! I’ve never agreed with the way Argos sells action figures under one catalogue number, but its the way they have done it for quite a while.
I’m not sure if they did it with the Ljn line or not, since I’m assuming they sold more than just Ssslithe, Grune, Snowman and Tygra!

I made a call at the biggest Toystore here in Greece and asked them if they have plans of releasing the Thundercats within 2012, i got once again a negative response.
So i could’t wait anymore and postpone the inevitable, i went on and ordered from Buy it less Online, 3 of the 6’’ Figures.I got Lion-O, MUmm-ra and Panthro.All together they cost me 46.00 GBP, They come much cheaper in America and i thought of purchasing from US but lately the custom fees in Greece are raving mad so i can’t order them in a big bunch of 5-10 figs.
Add to that many ebay shops clearly state that they can’t and won’t ship thundercats in Europe, Bandai forbids it.
I didn’t find nowhere in The European sites the 6’’ Tygra and Cheetara.

My local sainsburys have some in at £7.99, panthro, lion o, tygra, mummra mummy,cheetara and wily kit. Nothing else, 2 rows.
Hope the supermarkets put them down in price, id be happy with £5.99.
They were really hard to get! The old catalogues sell for quite a bit on eBay, so I was lucky to find someone who collects them. They scanned the pages for me, which was really cool of them to do.
I love looking at this kinda stuff, so I thought others might like it too
Bad news from Hamleys. Most stuff is running out of stock and the guy who works there told me that demand is much higher than supply. Bandai/WB/CN keep under-rating this franchise for some silly reason. They don’t know when they’ll have new stock.
There was zero stock for the classics and from 8" thy only have Panthro and Mumm-Ra.
Guys, quick alert in the UK, I have just noticed that Argos has discounted the toys slightly online (as part of a larger sale I think, not reflecting on the Thundercats line), figures are £5.99 and the tank is £26.24, the racers and the lizard cannon are £11.24 each! But hurry, all stock has sold out to order and pick up in the three towns closest to me, and some shops further away only have 1 or 2 items left. Hopefully some of you will have more luck.
As has been said many times, they keep underestimating and under ordering this line, as stock is constantly low or sold out. (As a side note, entertainer shops near me have had a fair few mummified mumm ra figures and a few tanks, the odd kit and kat, but everything else has sold out). This is bad for us, but surely a good sign for the toy line as demand is obviously high?
My local toy shop has sold out of everything, wh smith now have no thundercats magazines, morrisons sold out, sainsburys are the only ones with a few figures left.
theres quite a lot down south and my sainsburys has the 15 and 10 cm for 25% off. i now own all the small figures thundertank,thunderracers and lizard cannon only packs i didnt but were tygra and lino deluxe just dont like them . I reallyn cant wait for series 2 hopefully bandai getys some sense and they come out before the sept realse date.
Starrcade, same near me. Asda has sold out of the comics, WH Smith too. My local newsagents all had a few copies but have none left now.
As for the figures, most of the places I have seen them in seem to be selling them really well.
All in all, I think that merchandise across the board is foing quite well, which bodes well I think for the lines continuing into the future.

I agree, I stayed away from the deluxe Liono and Tygra too, mostly because I already had the 4 inch figures and saw no sense in replicating them. I cant wait for season 2 either! Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll see them before late Autumn at best, so basically start looking at them as next Christmas’ presents!!! Hopefully by then we’ll have news on a substantive wave 3 as well!
