Some voice actor could probably get a similar sounding voice. Much like Maurice Lamarche did a great Vincent Price voice for Vincent Van Ghoul in Scooby Doo Mystery Inc.

The Black Cauldron is one of my favourite books! I’d highly recommend reading it on its own or better yet the entire series.
