Got my sword from a ebay seller who also is a a member of this site. It works and i love it. All i need for the catalogue to complete my collection of the Figures is Jaga, S-Slith Variant, Cheetara Variant, Red Hair Lion-O, Maroon Hair Lion-O, Tongue-A-Saurus, Safari Joe, Captain Shiner, Ram Bam, All the PVCS, WilyKit, Wilykat, Berbil Bill, Berbil Belle.
I would love to see pictures of the different variations of these swords. I solely joined this site to see if I could find some because they held a great place in my childhood. I actually never owned one, but would always go to my friends house to play and he had a kid sized CLAW SHIELD in bright orange plastic as well as 2 Lion-O swords. I don’t think they were the light up kind, they seemed to be made by another company probably.
I know one detail was pretty clear: the sword blade itself was kind of “kid safe” and instead of having an edge, it was a centimeter or one-inch strip “border” going wrapping around all the edges of the blade. Down by the handle is where the one broke, because I remember complaining that I wanted to play with the good one! Haha Either way, they were AWESOME swords so if anyone has pics, I’d absolutely love to see them.
Again I’ve seen plenty of the Electronic version that actually lights up and has an amazing sculpt for a toy of its time, but the ones I’m looking for were a little more primitive in design.
I thought there was two sizes of swords? A short on and long one.
