Silverhawks is okay but it just really lack the magic of Thundercats. It’s enjoyable enough and I will finish watching it but I can’t shake the feeling that the concepts just don’t gel. A space mafia is cool but the designs for the various members and their leaders just don’t belong. Mon*Star etc would be perfect villains in a show like Thundercats or He-Man. And the hero designs are some what too superhero out fit looking instead of a group of space police.

I kind of imagined the SilverHawks and ThunderCats universes co-existing.

Bravestarr is a far superior show to Silverhawks. Likeable characters and stuck to one theme. Cowboys in space. They didn’t deviate trying to add too much.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure Galaxy Rangers (another space cowboy show) also has a prison planet.

I’ve only seen the intro on youtube. It seemed really funny and cool, I still want to watch both TigerSharks and SilverHawks. The rendition of SH posted on facebook this week was so awesome!

You might like it but don’t be expecting it to be anywhere near as good as Thundercats or various other 80’s cartoons. Tigersharks is even worse than Silverhawks.

I’ve seen only two episodes of TigerSharks when I was little.
