Congrats on your purchase! I paid a little more for mine but it’s ok, at least I know mine is also coming. I do hope however that there isn’t any postage delays with this online sale. I see that Crita and Despara are delayed…

I don’t collect toys but I do find it strange the way mattel is making people suffer just to get these figures. It’s almost sadistic.

Not me. I gave up on Mattel and their products years ago. Although it wasn’t really the products as such, I just disliked the subscription method etc.

Man, it went fast yesterday. Less than a minute (?). I gave it a shot, though. I also preordered a set on eBay just in case. Expensive, but it’s so worth not having to stress, and not having to continually check Matty.com. Given these are fan-favorite characters, it just makes no sense not to give them a regular release. It’s not like the scalper market benefits Mattel financially. The whole way this unfolded just makes it seem like Matty is flying by the seat of its pants, as regards its admin decisions. Hope the next round of subs, if there is a next round, is handled more professionally and with more courtesy to the subscribers.

i personally think the people that subbed should have got the first choice to buy the kittens off matty.com . the way matty.com handle things is a joke .

The fact that they released them at all online is fantastic. How they’re doing it in limited quantities is perhaps not the best way to release them. I personally got mine off ebay, and paid a tad bit more for it. Releasing them now online gives me hope that next year (if we get a 2017 lineup) they will do the same for the SDCC exclusive (if there is one). That way I can wait until they actually announce that there will be a sale.
The fact that they’re releasing it might also mean they’re trying to get rid of the stock IF they’re not continuing the line. Who knows what’s going to happen. I guess we’ll find out in the next 2 or 3 days what Matty has up their sleeves. Personally, I hope for another year or 2 of ThunderCats!

It will be a big shame if we dont get the core cast at least. Tygra an Cheetara is a must. Also wanting a Bengali. I really do hope that Matty continue. They should see through sales that its a winner. I bet that DOS with the other cats will also go quick.
Im not sure if we should hold our breath getting news from SDCC regarding TC. I hope we do. We really need to know. TC subbs went only up on Jan so we may only find out closer to the date.
Having half a line will not be fun.
Just remember a lot of the sales of MOTUC is fans in desperation buying lots of subscriptions with hopes of selling them on eBay later on. There are guys on He-Man.org buying over 20+ subscriptions each year to keep the line going.
