Considering Thundera gets destroyed in the premiere I doubt there will be much court intrigue.
Probably not a whole lot of it, no. But considering the rivalry that’s being set-up between Lion-O and Tygra…and Tygra’s seeming envy of being passed-up as Lord in favor of Lion-O, we still might see some dramatic situations arise out of that. I don’t think however that Tygra would become an out-and-out backstabber. That’s taking it a little too far. But I think his jealousy might cause him to do something thoughtless which could give the other characters some difficulty later down the line. It still would make him a much more interesting character than on the old show.
Plus, there might also be some infighting between Grune, Slithe and the other Mutants as well, as they either try to curry Mumm-Ra’s favor or usurp him completely. And that will also be fun to watch!
I think that might happen, that out of jealousy Tygra makes something silly or without thinking very well, and cause the others some problems.
But then again, I keep thinking how it will go against code of Thundera, especially the “loyalty”. Unless they decide to make no code this time.

I think I’ll have to look into both game of thrones and the last airbender. Problem is that I don’t live in either the UK or USA so it’s more difficult to find a channel broadcasting it.
We did have Spartacus blood and sand and gods of the arena though so maybe game of thrones is still coming…

I kinda like that about Game of Thrones. There is a real danger to everyone. You don’t sit there knowing everything is going to work out for the person you like just because he’s a main character.
I like that too. There were quite a few surprises when I was watching f.e. the 2 Spartacus seasons.
