I’m wondering if you are talking about the Oakland Athletics baseball team. I didn’t start following sports till I was 16 years old and that was in 1993.
But I am curious of what you are talking about. I’m sure it has to do with sports and steroids. 
I remember reading the PCS Lion-o will be up for pre-order early in August in SSC, any news if it’s up or when?
Tentative pre-order date is the 26th…but it might get pushed to Sept 2nd.

The pre-order schedule will be bursting at the seams on Aug. 26th…It’s not only Lion-o, but Optimus Prime and kabuki will also be up the same day.

Good to see that they managed to keep it under $400.
I have to say I like the real to life look, giving Lion-O that look of a Lion. It’s an upgrade like they’ve done with He-man in the past, share I love the orignals always but it makes for an interesting upgrade seeing this.

Jerry has also confirmed that it is not a print nor a nameplate. Some are speculating it as a interchangeable hand.
Hey Vivek thanks for the info, i am excited to see what that might be, but we have to wait until January… It’s good Jerry managed to drop the price and i expect the Statue to sell out very fast, at least the EX. Still, no word about the limited numbers per edition…
I had a look at the Optimus Prime Maquette, also available tomorrow, much as i am a Transformers fan and consider Optimus one stunning character with a splendid design, i don’t like at all this New Statue based on the movie, it hardly brings to mind the original G1 Optimus and aside from that why is it so expensive :jaw:1,200.00!! USD:yikes:
On the other hand, Kabuki 1:4 Scale Mixed Media Statue looks so awesome:thumbsup:!!

Hey guys, with the Lion-o ‘massive’ Statue available within few hours i was wondering how many of you are interested in placing their pre-order tonight:yawn:?

Have you seen at those Wild Animals Documentaries, when the Lions are agitatedly prying and surrounding their prey ready to swoop at the right moment!! Well…this time the roles changed and the fans stormed through the SS site to catch as fast as possiible one hell of a huge Lion(-o):liono before it vanished into thin air and disappeared from the hungry mob!!!
At one window i was at the SS waiting anxiously to place my order and the other was linked at the Statue Forum where the guys offered up-to-the-minute updates and they were a bit high-strung;) too posting some really funny comments(the jokes really cracked me up:D) to release all this tension!!

The ‘‘torment’’ ended at 6:09 PM (PDT) , i don’t know how many,myself included, ordered simultaneously the Statue, thank God the system didn’t crash:sneaky: the loading was like some old Playstation Games!!!

Hmmm, after seeing how Lion-O’s eye glow red instead of yellow like the show or even the LJN action figure, I don’t think I will be buying this statue after all. Seems a bit too demonic for me.
So the EX Lion-o sold out in less than a day, actually within 16 hours from the time it was up for pre-order!!
For the hard heroes version of the thundercats, are the mountain bases of each figure going to be interlocking?
