Way cool! Hopefully we can get some dirt on the new ThunderCats series. Hopefully it’s not about some lame-ass rock band. Seriously, though, while I know that, that rumour has been debunked, I’m actually anxious to see what Larry Kenney has to say about all of this.
Sorry to diasappoint everyone but Toyfare #119 has nothing about a Larry Kenney interview so one of two things has happened. The description was a description they intended to use for issue 119 but decided to scrap the interview or the interview was in one of their previous issues (my guess is 117). My best guess with the disappointing magazine that Toyfare is, is that they scrapped the interview. I’ve disliked Toyfare for quite some time and this may have put Toyfare in my NOT to buy toy magazines :x
I believe I said in one of my last e-posts that the July 2007 issue of Toyfare did not have a Larry Kenney interview. However, that doesn’t mean that they scrapped it. It could be they did it and had to bump it back for some reason. But you never know, so I’ll still keep my eyes peeled for the August issue and let you know if anything about Larry shows up in it.:bengali:
It may have been bumped indeed. The way magazines work, is based on a strict deadline. My guess is some of the things Larry had said, needed approval prior to publishing it. If this is the case, there are some legal issues involved that may have caused a bump.
As an example. Let’s say that Warner Bros did not pay Larry to do any press on a new series. Larry talks about the production of the new show. Now before it can be published, the publisher would need to get permission from Time Warner first.
Why doesn’t someone contact Larry by email he’s really good at replying to those, and ask him if he remembers the interview and what he said??
worth a shot?
I know he’s been really good at reply to emails from myself so…
Thank you, voice guy. That helps make the legal waters a little less muddy.:cheetaraveryhappy:
And I think Neisan 18 has a very good idea. If anybody can clear up the interview mystery, it would be Larry himself. Does anybody out there agree and want to give asking Larry a whirl?:cheetaraveryhappy:
Hi, guys. I saw in Toyfare’s advertisement for their #120 issue that’s it’s going to be the “Transformers Movie Collector’s Issue”. So I don’t think Larry Kenney will be in this issue. But for all of you Transformers fans out there, this is the one for you. Enjoy it when you get it.8)
