My UPS toyrus.com order was actually “delivered” by the USPS. Apparently the order started via UPS but was then handed off to USPS at the destination city for final delivery. Weird. (Have gotten hundreds of packages via UPS over the years but somehow this was the first “combo” UPS/USPS delivery for me.
Regardless, I think the 8" Classics I received today are GREAT! 
Mine just showed up today the exact same way. Started ups then delivered by usps. I know DHL I think still exists and does the same exact thing.
Toysrus.com REALLY needs to fix this and learn how to pack there stuff. The toys are ok for the most part but a bit damaged still. Shocked this wasn’t a lot worse. And my sword has two spots on the tip of the handle where some paint has come off. One a bit big spot and a smaller one. Here’s some pics for proof too. Sorry for the crappy quality too it’s a old 8MP kodak camera. Waring there pretty big pics too but only about 1MB total for all three.
I got the sword to say “Sword of omens, give me sight beyond sight!” once so far. Thundercats Ho! a few times. And a thunder, thunder, thunder, thundercats ho! once as well. I wonder if by holding the button down does it keep saying just thunder in that one part or not.

Toys r Us absolutely SUCKS with their packaging methods. I ordered the SDCC loin o and it came “stuck” in the box with a little piece of bubble plastic on the side. The box was crushed from the top and sides thus destroying the collectability and mintyness of the item. For god sake just put “fragile” on the box!

I had the same experience, Ive ordered many of the new Thundercats toys and about 50% of them come crushed or dented, this from both toysrus and amazon…they such at packaging!!!

As much as I want that chrome sword and the sword stand from the Exodus episode, I just can’t justify spending $40 on a couple of accessories when I already have Lion-O.
Do you guys think we’ll be getting a new wave of figures by christmas time? or is that too soon. I honestly don’t know anything about Bandai’s release schedules.
I’ve been able to find 5 outta 7 4inch (missing the 2 girls, go figure)
And I got the 2 classics (which i have seen many many places now days)
I still need to get the Thundertank cause well it comes with snarf 
I wish they’d roar into my local walmart. They have had empty pegs ready for them for 2 weeks already. I stopped by after work today to grab a few things and swung by the toy department and found they decided to rearrange the department and the action figure isle was bare. I’ll try kmart tomorrow.
I found some today! I got The Kittens, Panthro and Tygra 4inchers. And Classic Lion-o.
I got the 4" Lion-O, Tygra,Cheetara, Mumm-Ra today… they had the others at my TRU, but I am going to wait until payday to get the rest. They didn’t have the thundertank or any 6".
Almost everything sold out at my TRU today. Grabbed Mezco Lion-O (have another one waiting for me in my stash of things to buy xD ), the Classics, Deluxe Sword and Deluxe 4" Grune.
K-Mart is definetly the place to go for the 4 and 6 inch figures, they’re cheaper there. Atleast where I live. Got Lion-O, Panthro, Wilykit, Wilykat and Tygra there.
We just need a Cheetara, Wily Kit and Wily Kat. Going to check Kmart tomorrow. Havent check there yet.
We just traveled back to our home in Fl from NY. And so stopped a few places so my kids and I could go in to see if they had any Thundercats. We did manage to get (at TRUs) 4" Lion O, Tygra, Panthro and the Thundertank. Plus an 8" Tygra.
Could someone help us out with Cheetara? Please?

PS… If you ask a rep at TRU, double check anyway. At one TRU we called, the guy was very helpful. He found and held Lion O for us but said the only others were Panthro (which we had already got) and Mum-Ra. Thankfully when we got there, my son and I went back and checked ourselves. We found Tygra behind a Mum-Ra! So always check for yourself, just in case!
Check K-Mart too. They’re mainly carrying th 4" figures.
Seriously, when the hell are walmart and Target gonna get em in? I have my SDCC lion-0 posing alone on my display table waiting for classics Tygra and the rest. Well…ok he’s not completely alone, He has MP Grimlock and Rodimus Prime with him.
I did check a KMart today. Nothing. I know of one in town though that I havent checked. Im wondering if I shoudl call them first or not.
Here is what I get from TRU:
- They are getting a lot of people asking about Thundercats
- They sell out very quickly…VERY quickly
- No Cheetara (I have yet to speak to anyone who has definitely seen her)
- Twice I have had them tell me certain characters were not there only to find when I actually go back, that they missed one. Yesterday it was 8" Lion O. They had TWO! The day before it was 4" Tygra
At this point we (my kids and I) just need Cheetara, Wily Kit and Wily Kat. If someone could help us find them it would be most appreciated.
I HOPING that all the figures will start coming in more. But who knows.
I was told that only select few walmarts will even get them.
The toys are getting hard to come by. I’d say the best bets are TRU and K-Mart, but from what I found out this week the other TRU in my area is doing, holding back the merchandise for specific customers (in other words, being assholes) I can’t assure anyhing..and K-Mart..that one’s more unpredictable.
In Chattanooga, I’ve found the toys at only Toys R Us and Walmart, so far.
