Hope they fix that hood on Mumm-Ra. You really shouldn’t be able to see the top of his head like that. Hopefully it’s just from someone displaying it improperly.
Looks like Pumyra has some kinda of scepter instead of the crossbow. Does anyone know if that’s from an episode? Doesn’t look familiar to me.
Also, what’s with the battle damage on her face?

That hood on Mumm-ra looks awful, I hope that is just a mistake on someone’s part. I am hoping to see at least a little something more, but I don’t know if we will.

Thats because these are made from resin so Mumm-ra’s cape is super rigid and the marks on Pumyra’s face are just paint chips. These things are mega-fragile, you’ll also notice a piece of her hair was broken off and reglued.
Overall an unimpressive reveal by Mattel for Thundercats and MOTU. 
I wish I still collected MOTUC, Tuskador looks really nice, one of my favourite NA figures as a child. Darius looks kind of cool.
Resin? Really? Hopefully that’s just the prototypes. They could go for something a little softer for his hood, like whatever McFarlane toys uses to make Spawn capes. Holds a shape, but is still flexible.
And yeah, now that you mention it I’m seeing paint chips on other figures as well. Especially Lion-O.
All hardcopy prototypes are cast in resin first. The final figures will be plastic like we are used to. Most likely a soft plastic for the cape like they usually do with figures with robes and capes. Every toy you see started out as a resin painted piece like these. Resin is very rigid and because of that you see the hood sit high on his head. If they pushed it down it would break.

What a disappointing showing
No packaging
Resin figures with chips and damage
No jaga/grune reveal
Mattel now have work to do to get more subscriptions after this showing!/it doesn’t have that wow factor!!!

Mattel and DC Collectibles are both making toys for 20+ year old cartoons and there is a vast difference between them. I love Thundercats but those Batman the Animated Series figures by DCC are absolutely stunning.
You do realise they are resin prototypes right and not plastic figures? Your statement makes zero sense since these aren’t finished toys. I think they look fantastic and it’s so cool Pumyra comes with the Totem of Dera (which makes sense since Pumyra is an healer and the Totem powers are meant for healing 
)
I admit though they made it sound like the were revealing something new, which is a bit disapointing…

Both negative and positive opinions have the right to be voiced here, but let’s not turn against each other.
I have been mostly a lurker of this forum for some years but I can tell it has always been a very civil and drama-free place. Let’s not change that now.
Not just talking about this thread. Wishing for these to get cancelled before they even started is not cool. It’s fair enough to critique something and say what you don’t like about it and would change, but to repeatedly bash something for the sake of it is not cool.
I agree, I thought the forum was going to explode with excitement but it seems like it’s a battle between those of us that are excited and those of us that want to pick it apart. Maybe its just because Mattel has such a bad reputation with some collectors when it comes to the MOTUC line that it will follow them to which ever line they make. I feel like I should be on the Mattel payroll for how much I defend them! I’m not saying that criticism isn’t warranted and we should discuss what we like and don’t but there is downright hatred and hope for the line to fail before it even starts. I mean it goes a little far when people are picking apart the condition of the prototypes and complaining of paint chips and repairs on fragile pieces made for display.
