Wowza!! These look amazing! I agree with some on Lion-O’s eyebrows, but I am thrilled. I have no experience with Matty subscriptions but I guess it’s time to start saving!! What a great day to be a Thundercats fan!!
It’s apparent that they are using the MOTUC mold as the default body sculpt.
Jackalman shouldn’t have so much muscles. Icon Heroes did the proper skinny look for him. Oh well, we can’t help it. I am nitpicking at this point.
I will likely complain from time to time, but I will support the line by buying all the figures. And I hope all fans will do the same. We have waited long enough for this line and it should continue until all the major and secondary characters get their due in figure form.
Man, I hope they make a Mandora figure by next year.
This is awesome! Hope DC picks up the license to do a comic series like they have with MOTU.
How does the subscription work? Are you guaranteed all the figures that way? Am I gonna have to stress about them selling out if I can’t get to a computer at a specific time on a specific day? Sorry never done the Mattycollector thing before.
First the Sub will have to make meaning enough will have to buy it. So its going to be important that we all build as much support for the line as possible.
Second, your credit card is charged monthly for each figure so make sure it stays valid.
Third, Digital River, the company that handles Matty’s shipping and billing can be “challenging” to say the least, but I haven’t had problems with them.
Fourth, the above is how other subs have normally worked. Matty has said nothing official about Thundercats yet.
Does anyone know how many people subscribe to he-man as this will be a good indication of how many Mattel need to continue to line. I’d imagine some will stay on when he-man ends and others will join…this is why the line cannot be sold in retail stores as it would be too much of a risk a’la bandai thundercats
These look simply awesome, already setting back cash for a subscription. I really hope they re-tool the female buck though, it looks so odd seeing Teela/She-ra taller than He-man. I’d hate to see Cheetara looking down on Lion-o too.
I’d like to see an eventual “MOTU/TC” comic book miniseries from DC that features the “MOTU” characters in their '80s designs and is non-canon with the current “MOTU” comics. I’d like for it to have a late-'80s feel also.
