The Lunataks were introduced in season two.
The figures I am looking forward to is Bengali, Tygra and Cheetara. I really hope they produce the main cats and mutant first before producing all other.
Just looked at the calendar…is it 2016 yet?

I’m convinced they will do the Thundertank, but I suspect that it will be an updated version. But they might just suprise us, the new Talon Fighter holds two figures in the cockpit, and since they don’t do action features, there should be extra room. So while not “to scale”, we may see a tank that can hold three Cats.

I suppose making it big enough two hold two in the front might be a bit much but as long as it looked good I suppose I would be happy enough with it.
Agree, if you think about it … it will be massive if they make it to scale to fit two in front. I reckon at least 50mm wide and about 60mm - 70mm long, that’s huge!!!

The way the Classic line works for Masters of the Universe, is the obscure characters are mixed in with the main characters. Mattel confirmed at SDCC this would apply to Thundercats as well. So expect to see an varied mix of characters. So it will be possible to see one of the Lunataks early on.

Personally though I hate the monthly release scheme.. I know it’s not going to happen but I would prefer a multi figure box set release in one go somewhat similar to the ‘early bird Star Wars deal’ or those SDCC Marvel Legends sets.
Surely that would be a quicker way to get the figures out instead of one a month.
The thought of having to wait to June for it to start then maybe up to three years for a certain character to be made is daunting and annoying.
I agree that it is a very long wait, but then again, it might be more financially viable for Mattel to release it like this. Anyway, it keeps the excitement going for a longer period. And the potential of extending it another year is always in the air - at least then we know that another 12 figures are on their way.
Right. I’m almost more excited to see vehicles and characters that LJN never made.

It is going to take a long time collecting these figures. If they for example released all the TC first it will take about a year getting them.
I dont think i would mind that much waiting. Just think how much it will cost us if they released more than one figure a month especially those of us living outside the US.
I just hope they release Bengali early on. It is one figure im anxious on getting.
It is funny how time flies but when you are looking forward to something it crawls like a snail.

I completely agree. Perhaps the fact that we some some unreleased items makes our longing for it greater. I nearly invested in those fabulous Lunataks from Lulu Berlu, because they look awesome , and knowing they were going to release Red Eye was very exciting. And to crown it all - Wilycub’s virtual figures made the longing extra bad for Mandora, Claudus and Willa. Now hopefully we can get them all. I’d rather have Mattel Lunataks than customs of it.

Yes, indeed. 
Grune, Hachiman and Mandora are pretty close to A-list characters. Mattel has really delivered with Masters of the Universe, way beyond anything I ever expected. They will deliver every character if the subs do well, which I’m sure they will.
It’s always most exciting to me getting characters who were never made originally, although I’m looking forward to everything!
