I prefer the cel shaded skin tone to the broadcast skin tone.

I like the “cel shade” effect you gave the revised Lion-O figure. 
Left side looks good enough for me and I WOULD BUY IT…
The face and hair look far better than the prototype. It looks pretty much perfect now although I still think the claw looks a little large. Also I think the clawshield with the sword in it should be in a more closed fist position.

The sword is also fixed and I love the face sculpt much more!!
If I do have to nitpick, I would ask for just a little bit darker skin tone … something between the 1st version and this one!

Also I wish they would show us how the claw shield will connect to his waist ?
I can see the peg there on his belt, but will it work like the Bandai figure where you need to use a connector piece ?

I really disliked the Bandai method of connecting the shield. I was always scared of it breaking. with the amount of force required to pop it on.
The claw looks good but it has more similarity with the new comics than the cartoon version…

I really hope they re-do the claw. The Bandai claw looked nice.

Oddly enough I thought the Bandai sword looked too long.
I felt the sword bent to easily. I know it is that way for kids safety and all but still, they could have made it a tad more firm.
Since Mattel said who we want in the next line of Classic figures, I would say bring Silverhawks and Bravestarr as the next line of classic figures…

I’d be happy if Mattel could buy out the license for Disney’s DuckTales to produce an action figure line based solely on the hit 1980s show.

I think they do browse through some of these forums to see what the response is to new releases and also what the fans are hoping and looking for. I mean they changed the LionO almost exactly to what the fans asked for. I also agree that Bravestarr will be an awesome line!!
I love Bravestarr. Still have all the toys. :biggrin I would love more Bravestarr figures.
Silverhawks though…the polite way to phrase my thoughts on a new Silverhawks line would be that I am not interested. I seen a couple ep[isodes and I really didn’t like any of it. It just seemed an absolute mess of ideas that just didn’t gel with each other.

I would love to see an accurate version of Tex Hex. Man, that guy was meaner than Skeletor… Lot of personality!
In South America Silverhawks was as popular as the Thundercats and for us it was of a sort of continuation of them, because of the similarities in action. I remember when I saw Monstar I said “Hey is that a Thundercat?”…
Oddly enough I watched both of these episodes this week as I am working my way through the full series.
‘Eye Of The Beholder’ is a rather good Tex Hex episode. He was a great villain.
‘Rampage’ is a great Thirty-Thirty episode.
I would be a bit confused about new Bravestarr toys as the Mattel toys look so different compared to the cartoon version. I am not sure which versions I would prefer. Some had better animated designs while some of the toy designs were better. I think the cartoon versions overall were better with maybe the exception of Thunderstick. I thought his toy was a lot cooler looking. He was also the first Bravestarr figure I got.
I never even heard of Silverhawks until 2002.
