I am now dreading asking you what those look like.
The first look was fine. The second look wasn’t great but looked okay in a suit of armour type way but the third look with long hair was odd. In the carton the third look is the same as the second minus the helmet but the toy looked completely different to the figure the second was based on.

…:mummra imitates Mumm-Ra’s laugh BWAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!
In fairness the toy of look 3 was a lot better.
Either way those designs make reboot mumm-ra look awesome in comparison and you know how much I HATE reboot mumm-ra.
I agree.
Disregarding the origions comic as canon for him (since it WAS made by the same people who made those awful sequel comics) I have to wonder why a mummy needs to wear a cloak.

But why would he feel cold when everything doesn’t bother him? not time or gravity or mind control or anything else for that matter. Did the Egyptians make it a habit of putting their dead bodies in cloaks?
Then again he might not have ever died. Some lynx god did mention Mumm-Ra was a 'devil priest" so who knows? How come cartoons could mention the devil in the 80s but not death? I know they say die a few times in the show though for the most part they substitute it with “destroy” LOL

On that note his ever living form doesn’t really have an egyptian vibe to it. Did the designers just mesh together different things from pyramid building civilizations? Of course I already asked about the snake tattoo on his chest but nobody really knows where it came from so I’ll just keep guessing that it’s the symbol for the spirits of evil. by the way mumm-ra REALLY needs to clip his toe nails. Maybe even invest in a set of pants to avoid further pantie shots. ewwww
ASlso did I forget to mention Mumm-Ra’s saw toothed grin? How in the world did he ever get that set of chompers?!
and apparently mummies have nightmares. I dunno why but the very idea of Mumm-Ra having a nightmare about being MURDERED by the sword of omens just.. brrr
Cloaks are awesome. That is why he had one.
that doesn’t really answer my question. Anyone else wanna try answering it? Please?
Bot everything was thought out during the process of creating these and many other cartoon characters.
I know that but it’s just me being curios and wanting other people’s take on it. Everything was thought out but a lot of Mumm-Ra’s history really doesn’t have a backstory to it. it’s a huge mystery.
I recall in the old comics there was a story where Lion-O went back in time and it showed Mumm-Ra as a pharaoh during the construction of his temple. Did you ever read that comic.
I really enjoyed the Wiz-Ra episode when it showed him and Mumm-Ra battling. I wish they had shown more of his back story in the cartoon.
The
only thundercats comic I read is the wildstorm origins one so no. You got a pdf file I can download? but that makes more sense than the origins comic where they just so happened to have a huge black pyramid laying around LOL.
Not sure what the issue is. I know the version I have was in the Marvel UK Easter Special.
Thanks anyway.. if you find it please let me know. Okay? I love everything mumm-ra (excerpt the sequel comics) so I am VERY interested.
Take a look at Mumm-Ra’s ever-living form in this poster:
It’s really nice.
:mummra:
Does he look on model to you? :slithe
he looks fine. is there a problem?
I just wanted to be sure. ![]()
