Micheal Jelenic and Dan Norton talk ThunderCats in SciFiNow magazine!

The only way for WB to revive this franchise is to make a movie in the mold of Avatar based on the 80’s property! The question remains who will roll the dice as director to get this project off the ground?

Thanks for posting blackiecats.

Well I would like to have read those scripts as well.

I would also like to have known what happened with the toyline and all the other “behind closed doors” information with these stupid companies.

I hate the fact that Warner Bros. still refuses to talk about it.

Far from the only way, what you are saying now is your OPINION on what is the only way.

Forgive me, but i’m pretty sure you dont work on CN or something similar so you know a movie/dvdmovie is the "one right thing.

In terms of everything a comic would be the easiest and just release it for a cheap price online, a short little comic that details how they get the last stone and beat Mumm-Ra or something just to give closure.

Now THAT, is a logical scenario and very easy. Making a movie is far from easy as it has to go through same procedures as the episodes from the show and if you know how those were made, then you will understand. People also tend to use the word “movie” to much. They would never make a “movie” to end the show, but probably just a longer episode, say 50-60 min. I would not call that a movie, a movie for me is something with a bigger and more serious budget and crew which goes on the cinemas. I love Thundercats but i think i’m just a realist if i say i dont think that movie will do good. Maybe if it gets heavily promoted, but…

Hiatus? Please, the show is not on hiatus. The show was not great, it didn’t get enough viewers and the toys sold terribly. The chances of them wasting a time slot for 65 more episodes is very slim. I am just hoping for a better team to produce a better series and a superior toy company to make some Classics style Thundercats.
