According to this latest article, Ghostbusters is heading for a 70 million dollar loss, making the possibility of a sequel less likely. The studio instead is now focusing on the animated TV series. Read more here:

I am honestly considering going to see the movie this week just so I can give an honest review of it.
I have been oohing and aahing about having a day out, including seeing it, all week. Haven’t managed it yet. If I wake up early enough tomorrow, I should do it then.

Long story short, it’s better than I thought it would be. Still not great though. I will give it 5/10. I enjoyed it more than Batman v Superman.
I saw it today as well. I’ll talk in depth there (including spoilers, be warned!). Sufficing to say, I expected it to be enjoyable, not brilliant, but worth seeing, and I was right.
Just updating this post. Ghostbusters 2016 is worse than Batman Vs Superman.
