The other uses I had in mind were:

  • Being used as a distraction (Safari Joe) - The one TR mentioned
  • Being used as an obstacle to trip an enemy (Mandora - Evil Chaser)
  • Being used as a life line to pull someone away from danger (Mongor)
  • Being used to climb mountains and cliffs (can’t remember the episode)
  • Being used as a sheath for the Sword of Omens (pretty much every episode)
