I was wondering the same thing. I know that there’s a monkey God called “Hanuman” in Hindu Mythology. But I didn’t know that it was also the name of a Japanese God, and I can’t recall which episode he appeared/was mentioned in.

The only thing I can think of is maybe he’s remembered Hatchiman’s name wrongly?

It is only one scene, and it’s very easy to miss. For years I thought too that they were completely absent from that episode, and was very surprised to see them pop up briefly in it when I got the DVD!
