Game: ThunderCat Trivia

They do teleport, but it’s Mumm-Ra who is responsible for their teleportation, as he is in “The Unholy Alliance”.

Anyway, about your question. is it Peter Newman in “The Terror of Hammerhand”?

No - Peter Newman was the voice of the Unicorn Keeper in that episode.

Was it by any chance Earl Hammond who was missing from “The Tower of Traps”?

Well, it is Earl Hammond, but I think he’s also missing from an earlier episode.

Unless he voices the Brutemen or Robear Bill, he’s probably absent from “The Slaves of Castle Plun-Darr”. Likewise, “Trouble with Time” (unless he’s the Lizarthon!).

I do believe that Hammond indeed did voice Ro-Bear Bill (don’t know for sure about the Brutemen though), which is why I eliminated “Berbils” and “Slaves of Castle Plun-Darr”.

In “Trouble with Time”, he voiced Jaga.

“The Slaves Of Castle Plun-Darr” was the episode I had in mind, neither Mumm-Ra nor Jaga appear in it (it’s Jaga’s only absence from the opening six episodes).

The question of who voices Robear-Bill is valid - but does he technically have a speaking part in that episode? We see him, but does he have any dialogue?

RoBear Bill does speak in the episode. Though I think he only says two words while describing the Brutemen’s appearance to the ThunderCats. First he says “Look” to Wilykit and then goes on to do an impression of the Brutemen and then says something like “Ooh” (At least that’s what it sounded to me like!)

Fair enough. OK, Wilycub, you’re up next.

For what it’s worth, I too believe Earl Hammond was the voice of the Berbils’ leader, but it’s one of those things that is difficult to be certain about, as I suspect that the Berbils’ voices were done with a special gizmo, rather like the Daleks in Doctor Who. They can twist a voice into a very weird shape indeed!

Sorry for the delay. Here is my question:

Name one good character and one evil character that you would associate with each of the following word/set of words:

 1. Snow/Ice
 2. Living underground
 3. Owns a spaceship
 4. Talking bird
 5. Arachnid
 6. Robot
 7. Ghost
 8. Four arms
 9. Mummy
 10. Treasure room/chamber

Mmm… let me see. The first one would be the good character and the second the evil one.

 1. Snowman / Queen Tartara
 2. Mycrits or Under-Earthmen (I’m not 100% sure that tehy will count, so I’m listing both in case at least one counts lol) / Spidera
 3. Mandora (does her bike count?) / Cptn Shiner.
 4. Cptn. Bragg (Crowman) / Cracker (does his parrot count?)
 5. Bushy / Spidera
 6. Ro-Bear Bill / Technopede
 7. Jaga / Grune
 8. — / Nemex
 9. Mumm-Rana / Mumm-Ra (this one was the easiest one lol)
 10. — / Baron Karnor (again, not 100% if he counts)

Ok, two missing.

Would the missing good guys be?:
8: Charr
10: Maftet
Not sure if Charr is considered good or neutral.

Tygra_Rules: Well done! All your answers are correct. Of course, there are more than one answer for some of the word sets.

adssse: You are absolutely correct too, sir! I’ll take Charr as a good character (though he does have a mean streak at times!)

So since Tygra_Rules was the first to answer and got most of the answers correct (missing only two which adssse filled in), I’ll give the win to our striped friend. Give us a new Trivia question, sir!

Oh my! Thanks! The competition was so hard, and it’s an honor to be in such great company in this list and have competed against great contestants like adssse, Zax, Liam (sorry if I’m forgetting someone) and, of course, the one player who made this excellent question, Wilycub; all of them great players. To all of them, my recognition and gratitude. And of course, I have to thank my dad, my mom, the CTs cast & crew and America TV for airing the show in Peru. Thank y’all.

I’ll have to give it a day or two to think the new question, so please be patient.

OK, here it goes.

Episodes in which the TCs have been put against each other, either because they were deceived or because they fell under an evil spell / external evil influence. I can think of five.

Note: The anointment trials episodes don’t count, neither does “All that Glitters” (this one because, although Lion-O and Tygra were framed and fought each other, they didn’t know they were going against a fellow TC).

OK then, let’s see, I can think of three:
Cat Fight
Chain Of Loyalty
The Mad Bubbler

They are all correct, Liam!
As there are 5 (at least in my mind lol), I think it’s ok to declare you the winner already. Although, let’s wait a couple of days in case someone else comes with another one I haven’t thought about (and also, just for fun to compelte the other 2 eps).

Been having some more thoughts - “The Mumm-Ra Berbil”, where one by one, the Cats under Mumm-Ra’s control attack the next target. And there’s a case for saying “The Ghost Warrior”, because we do see flashbacks of Jaga and Grune fighting when Grune was still nominally a Thundercat.

I thought of “Dimension Doom”, but then I realized that the Cats attack Wizz-Ra, not each other…

I also thought of “The Heritage”, but the Kittens’ sabotage doesn’t really wind up hurting Charr any more than Mumm-Ra alone would have, and Charr’s not a ThunderCat.

There’s also cases of ThunderCats attacking enemy vehicles being piloted by other Cats, but I think those instances are not unlike “All That Glitters”.

So, long story short, I got nothin’!

I was thinking of ‘The Ghost Warrior’ as well but didn’t think it would count as technically Grune is not under an evil spell, just his personal greed and lust for power.

What about “Return to Thundera - Part 1” where Mumm-Ra, disguised as Jaga, turns Jagara against the TCats?
