That was a great question, Liam! I was pretty sure that it was one of the Anointment Trials episode, just couldn’t remember which one. Well done, Mongor! 
That was a good question. I knew it was definitely in one of the original BBC broadcasts but I just couldn’t place which one. I really need to keep my DVD’s closer at hand.

It was a great question…the episode also features a rare appearance of Slithe piloting the Skycutter as his vehicle of choice is the Nose Diver.

What characters (robots like the Technopede & Wolfrat are excluded) can shoot energy beams from there eyes?
I can think of two from season 1 and three from season 2, but there may be more. I’m also not including the Kymera as it looks like he does not shoot anything from the part of his ‘head’ that he uses to see.

OK, Vultureman in “The Super-Power Potion”, and Mandora (courtesy of her visor) in “Mandora: The Evil Chaser”. I can’t remember if Wiz-Ra does in “Dimension Doom”, but I guess not. I think Red-Eye does it once or twice in season 2, presumably in “Mumm-Ra Lives! Part V” and “The Telepathy Beam”. Not sure what else though. I’m trying to think of an instance of Mumm-Ra doing it, but I can’t! It feels like he should though!

I think the one from season 1 is a villain female, but I’m torn between Ta-She and the vampire mermaid. Any of those?

Mummra as Dr. Dometome in ‘Fond Memories’ does fire a beam, his eyes just become visible on the goggles. Vampire Mermaid and Tashe have seductive gazes but don’t actually shoot an energy beam.

I can’t shake that image of Red-Eye firing some sort of beam from his eyes, so I’ll say “Day Of The Eclipse”. I’m really guessing now, as I’m not that well up on season 2. I’m assuming he does at one point when up against Tygra . . .
I suppose the “eyes” on Rataro’s daggers don’t count, right? LOL
Redeye does not fire from his eyes in “Day of the Eclipse”…watched the episode over the weekend. I am thinking about all of his episodes to see if I can remember him shooting beams from his eyes. I am probably one of the only aficionados of the show whose favorite Lunatak is Redeye so I should hopefully be able to remember.
As for Rataro, the eyes on the daggers do not count.
A hint for the two from season two…they appear in episodes that partly take place on New Thundera.
I think the Ancient Spirits of Evil shoot beams from their eyes in “Return of the ThunderCubs”.
The ASOE are not either of the two I was thinking of but you are correct. Now we have a three way tie with two answers each. Can anyone think of the last two from the New Thundera episodes?

You’re right Liam, the whole team shoots beams out of their eyes in “The Mummra Berbil”…I’m probably one of the few that knows season 2 better than season 1 on the whole. The other two from season 2 were Two-Time and the ShadowBeast. It’s your turn to pose a question…
