Game: ThunderCat Trivia

Oh I didn’t realise this was a big game thing. I was just checking New Posts when I read the question and replied. Do I have to now read through all previous 64 pages to see which questions have come before? :o

Only if you want to

I wouldn’t say that’s necessary though, if the question had already been asked, we just answer it and post a new one… it’s just for fun after all.

Bushy the Spider it is! You’re up, Carnivac.

Ok. I best come up with a question. I need to go think about it and research that the answer is correct.
Merged Post:
Damn, it’s difficult coming up with a question that’s challenging and that’s not too much work for me to find the correct answer myself (I haven’t the time to search through all 130 episodes to count the number of times a particular situation occurs for example) :liono

You don’t necessarily have to formulate a question which would require you to have full knowledge of all 130 episodes. You can avoid questions which involve a certain situation occuring a number of times over a number of episodes.

Instead its easier if you create a question based on maybe a single episode which you remember more vividly or maybe even a certain character that you are fond of.

Ok I got one. Probably easy but at least it’ll keep the game going. Don’t even know if it’s already been asked cos I haven’t the time to check every page. :stuck_out_tongue:

Question:
What is the powerful item that Mumm-Ra stole from Wizz-Ra?
Bonus question:
What length of time does Wizz-Ra have to wait between each time he gets to leave his dimensional prison for a day?

He stole Wizz-Ra’s golden helmet. And Wizz-Ra showed up every 7000 years.

Yup, 7000 years is correct. And golden helmet is probably sufficient but can you give me the full name of the helmet? :liono

_________ Golden Helmet __ ________

Enchanted Golden Helmet of Pharnoor  (I had to check my DVDs for that one lol)

:liono Yup, ok you definitely win.

Ok, so here’s the question (it was hard, I thought of three good ones).

Of all the TCs, Tygra, Wilykit and Bengali were the ones boots with the toes and heels cut out, leaving the claws exposed, but as long as the show ran, we got the chance to see some other TCs’ feet. Which were them and, of course, in which episodes did we get to see them barefoot (besides “Exodus” that is, in which, ironically and senseless, they were naked but actually wore boots)?

Ah. I’m sure I noticed one of them going barefoot at some point when I was mass-watching episodes a few weeks back but I can’t remember who it was or which episode cos I watched so many. I’d suck as a detective (I been watching a lot of Monk too and am jealous of his memory skills).

What’s stupid is that I actually typed Monkian before I realised I meant Monk. Monkian would be a terrible detective too (though I would pay to hear Peter Newman say “ooh ooh, heeeere’s what haaaappened!” in his Monkian voice). Yeah I’m in a weird mood today. Lack of sleep from having immense head pains for over a week will do that. :frowning:

Great question! I can only think of two, and they both involve swimming:

Lion-O in “Tower of Traps”
WilyKat in “Dr. Dometone”

ETA: I thought of a third! Pumyra throughout “ThunderCats Ho!”

ETA again: And, even though it’s a repeat, Lion-O as a baby in “Time Switch”.

You got them both Zax! Your turn  (I didn’t consider “ThunderCats Ho!” because, just like in “Exodus”, they weren’t wearing their regular unifroms then… should have pointed that, but still you got it).

The Cave of Time makes several appearances during the series. Which ThunderCats entered it, in which episodes, and why?

I can think of 2 off the top of my brain. Tygra goes in there in “Trouble with Time” because he believes there’s Thundrillium in there. Lion-O uses it in “Time Switch” to grow back to an adult.

Update

In part 5 of “Thundercubs”, Tygra, Cheetara, and Panthro use it to return to adulthood.

Those were the 3 I had in mind as well, LO, so I guess it’s your turn (but let’s wait for Zax, maybe we’re missing one).

Does anyone else wonder why Tygra, Cheetara and Panthro entered the cave in “ThunderCubs” part 5, but in “Return of the ThunderCubs” Lion-o thought it would be much easier to use the Eye of thundera to turn them back to their normal selves? It would have been easier to do so in ThunderCubs as well.

Good point. Looks like it’s probably another inconsistency.

It’s not the Eye of Thundera that changes them back to adults. It’s the Eye of Thundera in combination with the Mirror of Truth (the signal hits the mirror and its light reflects down onto them). Since the Mirror had shown their true adult selves moments before, I had always assumed it was crucial in changing them back.

You are missing one.

I’m pretty sure it’s Lion-0, but can’t remember when or why.
