Game: ThunderCat Trivia

Wow. Okay, here goes. I know I’m going to miss a bunch. Since you said wield, I’m basically including everyone who ever held the Sword without it complaining (so Tygra in Garden of Delights doesn’t count, but Luna in Telepathy Beam does).

Jaga - The Ghost Warrior
Claudis - Shadowmaster
Snarf - Exodus
Cheetara - Key to Thundera
Panthro - Return to Thundera! Part 3
WilyKat (w/Lion-O) - The Transfer
WilyKit - Totem of Dera
Lynxo - Ravage Island
Pumyra - Mumm-Rana’s Belt
Bengali (reforging) - Mumm-Ra Lives! Part something
Charr (reforging) - Return to Thundera! Part 2
Willa - Garden of Delights
Luna - Telepathy Beam (it zaps Amok but ignores Luna)
Mumm-Ra - Hair of the Dog

I think we have a “my bad” here. I was meaning use, not just hold. Kit was successful in using the Sword to defend herself and Lion-O.

I think you nailed every one that I can think of, except Mumm-Ra. I don’t recall him using it in that episode. And he also used it while in a disguise.

Ready for the next one.

Oh, okay. Just covering all bases, I guess. As for Mumm-Ra, I might have Hair of the Dog confused with Runaways. I’m thinking of a scene of Mumm-Ra in the Control Room, waving the Sword about, gleefully shouting “No more ThunderCats!” The Sword is actually firing bolts of energy as he waves it around.

The other one I was thinking of was Pumm-Ra (Mumm-Ra disguise). He was able to use the sword to call the other ThunderCats.

Okay, next question.

Should I connect yellow to red? I’m tempted to connect yellow to green. If only there were a clever rhyme to help me…

Yellow to red will get you ahead, yellow to green will make you scream. As will Snarf’s attempts at poetry.

Haha, yes! Though I prefer Snarf’s poems to his nephew’s god-awful singing.

Your turn, keaton.

Ho keaton, we are ready and waiting.

Oops. Forgot about this. Apologies.

So: name two occasions on which Lion-O has used the cat signal for a purpose other than signalling the Thundercats - for example, as a weapon.

Inentionally…

  1. To age the ThunderCubs back to adult ThunderCats.

  2. To make Tygra and Nayda visible again.

Also, to put back together the chain of loyalty, and to open a way up that trap in “Locket of Lies”.

There was the time he used it to create an artificial eclipse and undo Mumm-Ra’s magic.

He also used it to heal Lynx-O.

Hm! Clearly I should have asked for three or four examples to make it a bit harder.

Well, CoT, as the first off the mark, I reckon you win.

Here’s an easy one…

Why did Tygra make Nayda invisible?

To infiltrate castle plundar?

Yes, she insisted in that him turned her invisible as well so they can get into Castle Plun-Darr to rescue Willa.

I would go with Tygra Rules answer on that, the purpose was to save Willa. It just happened that she was a prisoner in Castle Plundarr.

Thanks!

But as the question wasn’t really that specific, I think Robear deserves it

If you want to hand it over, that’s fine. But you gave the answer to my question that I was looking for.
