Game: ThunderCat Trivia

OK, new question here.

Who’s the only ThunderCat that has made mention of a relative, (that is, besides Lion-O of course) and in what episode? Snarf doens’t count either.

Not sure if this is right, since it could just be a turn of phrase, but… Is it Panthro saying “Just like mother used to make,” in reference to the emergency C-rations in “Time Switch”?

That’s the one I had in mind! Your turn Zax!

I think the one I was thinking of was still Snarf! I was trying to remember the episode, I think it was “The Wild Workout”, his tail-mitten. Not that it matters!

Sorry it’s taken me so long to think of a new one! Here we are:

Most of Mumm-Ra’s disguises get discovered by the ThunderCats or purposely revealed by the mummy himself. But there are a few that are never revealed—the ThunderCats never learn that it was Mumm-Ra all along (or, at least, it’s never mentioned).

Name the disguise and the episode. I can think of four, and there may be more, so give it a think before you answer!

There’s the Bolkin in “The Evil Harp Of Charr-Nin” for starters.
The Jaga and Turmagar disguises in “Catfight”.

I’m not 100% sure of this ne, but did they get to know he was Kudi? Most of season 2+'s episodes in my mind are a big blur.

Yes to all three of these!

They did, yeah. In the epilogue, the Kittens explain it all to the real Kudi.

Other ones on my list included the swarm of locusts in “Berbils” and Panthro in “Screwloose,” but with three correct answers, I think Liam’s got the win.

Semi-related, I always enjoyed the fact that Ma-Mutt disguised as Mumm-Ra in “Mumm-Ra Lives!” Parts 1–3 completely fooled everyone and was never revealed. Bravo, boy!

I thought about the swarm of locusts, but Lion-O did say there was something funny about it especially when it morphed into one big one and then back into the swarm atop the volcano so wasn’t sure it counted.

The Netherwitch?

No, he revealed himself to Lion-O as he transported him. It is actually my turn to think of a question. OK, in which episode does Vultureman appear only in a kind of flashback sequence with, while Monkian & Jackalman appear only in the present day setting, and Slithe is in both?

I remembered Mumm-Ra revealed himself, but I thought he did it once Lion-O was already transported to the Astral Plane.

Good question! Might have it a thought!

Sounds like “Return to Thundera” to me!

Correct! I probably made it too easy, but I was struggling to think of anything! Your turn Zax!

It was the mention of the flashback that gave it away for me. [emoji846]

Okay, here’s a new one:

Mumm-Ra has been known to unexpectedly appear partway into an episode, outside the Pyramid, after the episode’s conflict has been seemingly established. Surprise! It’s a Mumm-Ra episode after all!

How many episodes like this can you name? I’ve got three in mind (there may be more!).

If I’m understanding it correctly, then “Garden of Delights” might be one, right?

I’m thinking “Sword In A Hole” for another.

These are both correct! There are at least two more. Can someone break the tie?

“All That Glitters”!

Yep, this one’s also right. It’s been a few days now, so I’ll say this one’s yours, Liam. Other episodes that sprang to mind for me when I posed the question were “Mumm-Rana” and “Book of Omens”.
