Actually, it was a 50-50 as Liam got the Tygra part of the answer (which everyone might have forgotten as it was really easy and waaaaayyyyy too long ago LOL).
But, considering you got the hardest one, and if Liam is ok with it, of course, I’g give it to you
When I was a kid (and maybe even also now) Cheetara’s line, along with Tygra’s Tiger clan, made me think the Noble TCs were selected among many of their respective clans, as if they had trials just like their Lord, but among their own species.
Well done, @Tygra_Rules for coming with a real head-scratcher and even more well done to @thezaxfactor for getting the right answer!! thumbsup:thumbsup
I think we all got a good brain workout over this one! :biggrin
Thanks Wily! I think we all deserve credit though. If it wasn’t because all of us have posted so many questios already, I’d have asked an easier one. It’s because all the somehow easy questions have already been asked that it forced me to look for a harder one. So kudos to all of us for taking the game to a next level!
Happy to wait for Liam to confirm, or let him go. But I did watch a few episodes last night and have some good questions queued up, for when the time comes. [emoji846]
In what episode (and under what circumstances) do we hear the melody of the main theme, not just as background music, but diegetically, in the world of the show (i.e. the characters can hear it too)?
Ah, okay. I’m looking for an episode where part of the melody from the main theme is actually in the world of the episode. Like, this isn’t it, but imagine Snarf humming it. I’m pretty sure the instance I’m thinking of is the only time it happens.
Seven episodes so far? So much ahead! I’m curious what they’ll think of the ending of “Tower of Traps”. [emoji88] And the surprise of “The Ghost Warrior”!! Oh wow, I wish I could remember my reactions to those moments as a kid…
Are you watching with the English audio, or a Spanish dub?
That’s so cool, @Tygra_Rules! I’m very happy to hear that your daughters love the show. It is our responsibility to introduce this awesome show to the next generation!
This is a really interesting and unique question that you’ve come up with @thezaxfactor ! I think only super die-hard fans would know the answer. I racked my brains a lot and still can’t think of what could be a possible answer. My first guess was either “ThunderCubs IV or V” since the Magical Flute appears in them and maybe one of the TC’s plays the theme on the flute. But I browsed through those episodes and that is not the case.
My suspicion is that it might be a later season episode. I wouldn’t mind a couple of hints, please.
Ok, so I went through those two episodes again and it sounds like Lion-O playing a bit of the theme tune near the end of Thundercubs V. Is that it? I can’t say for sure cause the music is quite short and I think I’m growing tone deaf with age! LOL!
Thank you Zax! I guess I was on the right track after all, just didn’t listen very carefully to that last piece as I thought that perhaps Snarf or Cheetara would be the one playing the theme.
I really loved this gem of a trivia that you came up with, Zax :love (and even the one Tygra_Rules came up with before this). One would think that after so many years and 124 pages of this Trivia Game, we would have exhausted all possible unique questions about the show. I’m glad that you guys are coming up with new stuff!
You mentioned that you had a few good questions lined up. So I’d request you to please take my turn and post one of those. I don’t have any question in mind, and I probably will end up just repeating a question that has already been asked a dozen times! LOL! :biggrin
My answer was a speculative ignorant guess based on the fact that the Kittens heard the music at the beginning, I wondered it maybe it might have been a heavily disguised arrangement of the theme. I wasn’t even imagining I heard it, I was simply trying to think of an episode in which the characters could hear music of some sort.
Ah, okay. Yeah, I just scrubbed through, and it’s all random arpeggios as far as I can tell. No intentional melodies that match familiar themes.
It’s amazing what watching a few episodes can do! I was literally taking notes. Also, if you haven’t watched in a while, I highly recommend it. [emoji4]
To quote Snarf, “Well, reow, if you’re sure…”
