Correct on all counts. Your turn Tygra_Rules!
Thanks Liam! For a momento, I thought I was missing one (just to show how little credit Tygra got LOL).
Ok, in one episode, a Thundercat recalled a relative of him/her. Name the epsiode, what TC was it, which was his/her realtive and what did he/her remembered about him/her.
Well as far as I know it was just those two - if you look at most of the āindividual nobblingā episodes heās third or fourth (counting the Kittens as one). Although sometimes we see less of his struggle, notably in āDream Masterā.
So, what about the answer?
Here it is again: In one episode, a Thundercat recalled a relative of him/her. Name the epsiode, what TC was it, which was his/her realtive and what did he/her remembered about him/her.
Was it Snarf? Iām just guessing here because Snarf is the only one that comes to mind who had a lot of relatives back on Thundera. LOL :biggrin
Nope, no Snarf. ALthough he had a tendency to talk about his relatives (much more than we could care about it LOL)
My mind also went to Snarf and his Aunt Esmeralda. But thinking about the other āCats, the only one I can think of is Panthro in āTime Switch,ā when he says āEmergency C-rations, just like mother used to make.ā But I always assumed it was a joke.
That was the one I was thinking of, Zax!
I always liked that line, because if it wasnāt for it, one would think the TCās were orphans taken by the Empire LOL
Your turn!
Related to the last one, which ThunderCats havenāt set foot in the Cave of Time?
Wilykit, Wilykat, Bengali, Pumyra, Lynx-O, havenāt.
Spot on!
Letās see then. While weāre on the subject of the Cave Of Time, what opportunity did they miss with regard to it at the end of Thundercubs?
To get some Thundrillium form the cave? :whistle
Correct! Tygra originally went into the cave because he was getting strong Thundrillium readings. Cheetara was able to retrieve him from there because she could be in and out before the caveās magic could work on her. At the very least they could have sent her running in all the way through the tunnels to see where the Thundrillium was, and in a best-case scenario even obtain some, going in and out in little quick visits, and she would probably have been able to get some before she regained her normal age.
Your turn Tygra_Rules!
And even if she got a little older, there was always the Geyser of Life LOL.
Hereās the new one. The Thunderkittens usually get involved in their adventures together, and so they mostly got captured together. But there are some episodes in which either Kit or Kat got captured (or apparently captured) while the other doesnāt or even gets to escape. What episodes are those in which Kit or Kat got captured and the other one not, and which one got captured each time? (I can think of three).
Iām thinking of Dr Dometone, Vulturemanās Revenge and The Circus Train.
āThe Tower of Trapsā was one that came to my mind.
Liam got two correct: āDr. Dometomeā (Wilykit) and āThe Circus Tarinā (Wilykat). I didnāt have āVulturemanās Revengeā in my radar⦠I donāt remember the episode very well, but I think both TKs got captures in that one. ĀæAm I wrong? If so, then it was my bad and Liam got three correct.
Wily got one correct: āThe Tower of Trapsā (Wilykat).
So, anyway, it was 2 for Liam and 1 for Wily.
Your turn, Liam!
Iām not that sure about that episode myself now. Iām now wondering if itās just Snarf who goes to Lion-O about the kittens as a pair. Iām not that hot on the later series, and havenāt watched any episodes of any series for a few years.
OK, hereās my question. Further to the individual nobbling sequences, in which episodes was Tygra the last of the Thundercats to be thus overpowered? I can think of at least three.
Donāt worry, Liam. I feel the same about the later series either, and donāt remember them that good myself.
About your question, I can think of āThe Mumm-Ra Berbilā, "āQueen of Eight Legsā and āThe Evil Harp of Charr-Ninā. I always wondered why in those eps (except for The Mumm-Ra Berbil), the TCs attacked one by one rather than all at the same time (other than to serve the episode, of course).
Also, in āExcaliburā, heās the last one to pass out when Excalibur penetrated the Eye of Thundera, and then he was the first one to get up. I always saw that as a sign of inner strenght in him.
