I love Mule’s vague description of them in “Safari Joe”—that they are “endowed with remarkable properties”. Ha! Thanks, Mule, good to know.
Okay, new question, similar theme:
Cheetara’s staff is also cable of some unusual tricks. On what two occasions do we actually see her staff act like/transform into multiple staffs (staves?)?
I think I remember one such incident. Does her fight with the Stone Gargoyles at the end of “The Tower of Traps” count? I seem to recall that she planted her Staff in the ground and it shot out into multiple staffs which lifted a Gargoyle clear off his feet.
Uh oh. You all have beaten me at my own game. The Charr-Nin example escaped me.
“Mechanical Plague” is the second answer I had in mind—the staff doubles into a sort of cross, and Cheetara runs back and forth across the horizontal portion.
Three of you now have one correct answer each, which puts me in an odd position. I’m tempted to give it to Liam, since he confirmed one answer and gave another; but if you all want to be magnanimous with one another and elect a winner, that also works for me. [emoji51]
Aw, thanks guys! I probably would have nominated either Liam or Tygra_Rules to be declared the winner. :biggrin
Ok, here’s my question, a slightly tricky one:
In which Season 1 episode do the ThunderKittens appear along with the other ThunderCats in Cats Lair but then inexplicably disappear about halfway through and are never seen again?
P.S: When I say “inexplicably disappear”, I mean that the animators simply forgot to draw them for the second half of the episode.
Again, I know I’ve seen that one (I even have noticed and pointed that to myself LOL), but I’m cofused about it now. It’s a common thjing, right? You have something in mind and when someone asks you about it, you forget or get confussed…
If I’m allowed to guess (and of course I am LOL), I’d say “Return to Thundera”.
Hah! That happens to me all the time! Just last week I had a scene stuck in my head but couldn’t remember it until I asked Liam and he gave me the answer. :biggrin
That is correct! :thumbsup The kittens are there when the Warbot first approaches the lair and Panthro fires various stuff at it from the Ballista but they just disappear when the Warbot starts attacking and are never seen again.
On a related note, in the Trial Of Speed, the kittens are accidentally shown in one shot when they’re watching from the Lair the progress of Lion-O and Cheetara.
The kittens might have had a hard time explaining the others their escapeing route after the warbot was destroyed LOL I can see Panthro “You ran away and didn’t tell us! How?!”
Ok here’s my question: Besides Tygra, Kit and Benagli, we’ve seen two other TCs barefoot. Which TCs are they and in what episodes they were barefoot?
(I know neither Tygra nor Kit nor Bengali have been literally barefoot ever, but you know what I mean ;))
Lion-O was barefoot at the beginning of “The Tower of Traps” when he is swimming and WilyKat was barefoot when he was swimming with Kit at the beginning of “Dr. Dometone”.
And Snarf, who is also a ThunderCat is barefoot all the time!
Wow! that was fast -and correct- Wily! Your turn again.
About Pumyra, she wore some white boots throughtout ThunderCats Ho!, which changed to red when anointed (I think that was the only change on her outfit, unlike Bengali and Linx-O who got a whole new wardrobe LOL. Poor Pumyra, she didn’t even get new clothes, so mistetaed was she by the series’ crew).
Thanks Tygra_Rules! I just figured that the only time any of the other TCats would take off their boots would be to go swimming and that’s how I remembered Lion-O and Kat. I actually thought that they would take off their shoes before going to bed as well but strangely they don’t!
New question: Which is the only Season 1 episode that takes place entirely at night?
