If memory serves me right, in the book “Hear the Roar!”, the author has pointed that scene out as an “animation error”. :laugh

I remember Tygra pretending to eat the fruit (if you look carefully, you even see him getting out of trance). Is that Cartoon Nettwork edit, or was there another one? Not sure if the episode got here already edited.

If I’m not mistaken, Cartoon Network edited out the entire first half of the episode (probably because of the hallucinogens?), so that it starts with Tygra and the Sword already at the Pyramid. You have to glean what happened purely through the Sight Beyond Sight flashback.
I don’t have my copy of Hear the Roar handy, but if memory serves the original script matches up well with what we see onscreen. I don’t think him fake eating the fruit was an animation error, especially given the emphasis on Willa noticing.

I really need to watch the episodes again - partly to check for continuity points to help hammer out the continuity order that I’ve been trying to work on for a decade! (A thread that is still occasionally active on this board!)

The Mumm-Ra Berbil?
I think it’s from “The Mumm-Ra Berbil” (my 2nd choice woid be “Return to Thundera” episode, but almost sure it’s not from there).
