A little off topic, but did we ever get any explanation on how Lynxo acquired his Light Shield? They talked about the Thundercats creating the Braille Board, but the shield just seemed to show up. Bengali’s hammer was touched on with his blacksmith abilities and Pumyra’s was somewhat part of her outfit I guess. With the original Thundercats we at least saw them given to them by Jaga.

I dunno. I mean he DIDN’T have it in the movie since you know the cats wore different clothing, except Pumyra. the only thing seemingly added to ehrt outfit besides her wip thing were shoes. Maybe tygra invented it or panthro but WHY would they give a BLIND thundercats a light shield?

I think Lynx-O’s light shield makes him look cool. It can shoot and deflect energy bursts.

Much as the “Lion-o’s appointment(??)” were interesting I have a problem about part 5. The trial of evil is supposed to be a very significant episode for the character I have a huge complaint with the episodes animation. I mean couldn’t they have had the animators for the episode “spitting image” or something? sI mean the characters in the episode have smashed up faces and all the muscular characters like lion-o and mumm-ra look like they got balloon animal arms instead of actual muscles. that is some really wacky anatomy going on there. It kind of takes away from the epicness of the episode IMO.

Much as the “Lion-o’s appointment(??)” were interesting I have a problem about part 5. If I recall correctly Lion-O looks pretty weird in that episode.

LOL it just looks weird. Couldn’t whoever did the really well animated episodes just animate all of them? It really is a problem with consistency. Sometimes the characters just look really wonky.

I read that some of the animators etc that worked on Thundercats went on to work for Studio Ghibli.

I am going to assume those animators were the ones who did the well animated episodes.
