Actually when I first came online in 2000, the core ThunderCats fan base regarded the series as 4 seasons (which technically there is as they aired in 4 different years before going into syndication)
Season 1: 1-65 (1985)
Season 2: 66-90 (1986)
Season 3: 91-110 (1987)
Season 4: 111-130 (1988)
That did actually happen in the UK! We got eps from Exodus to The Rock Giant in 1987, which amounted to 32 episodes in total. Then in 1990-1991 we got all the eps from The Trial of Strength to Fond Memories, which was also 32 episodes (The Transfer has never aired on UK TV!)
I think that’s a good thing, and gives the series more sense.
Also, The Transfer was a fun episode, but I didn’t like episodes where:
a) some memebers were almost written off (Cheetara, Tygra, Wilykit), and
b) at the end of the ep, the characters that took part in the action made those “hilarious” jokes the others didn’t understand.
