Ya the rock and designs where a far cry from the originals! I still like the 2011 designs for the most part, but human kids is a bit too far off.
What would you all think of s reboot geared towards younger kids in the vein of Transformers Rescue Bots or TMNT Half Shell Heroes?
I don’t like those shows so I’m not a good person to ask.
It could probably work. 
ahh…Thundercats Rockband; back when Guitar Hero and Rockband were some of the biggest games on X-Box/Playstation. Think they missed that boat; as for trying it today…do kids still play Guitar Hero/Rockband?

TF: Rescue Bots…meh, I like Prime better. Robots in Disguise (2015) is alright.

I don’t know how thundercats and an rockband would have even worked together. >_<
I believe the story would have been the Thundercats coming to present day Earth.
so how would somebody like MUMM-RA fit into such a scenario?
I have no idea. Maybe he followed them to earth or their music was so awful it awakened him from his tomb.

The whole concept sounded like an idea for a really bad anime.
still mumm-ra hearing awful music and getting ticked off about it is pretty funny. "those blasted thundercats! who told them they could carry a tune?!
I have a feeling Mumm-Ra would be the hero…or at least the one everyone would be cheering for to shut them up. Since this idea was back around 2003 they would no doubt have been some pop rap nu-metal type band.

woulda been even more hilarious if he’d popped up with an awesome looking death metal guitar and showed them what real music was.
His weapon could have been a huge guitar that is also an axe like Gene Simmons.
Maybe they should do a Kickstarter of a season 2 or sequel web series for Thundercats 2011!
They should start as a Post-Punk revival/ alternative rock band.
I don’t like the idea of them being any type of band.
