I prefer these colours as I think they look much more vibrant. Tygra I understand why they toned down the colours, however I think they should have kept the colours on Panthro the same as the OS. They look so much better.
I like blue AND I like green on Tygra, but I’m not the biggest fan of his GI Joe armor. It might look better if they lost that sleeve on his left arm. The earthy green color is alright though, and the green does coordinate well with his coloring…very camoflaugey like Tigers happen to naturally be (well, in jungles anyway).
Panthro looks much, much better in blue. I’d switch him to that in a heartbeat.
I think they changed the colors to make each character different from each other, but color coordination is the hallmark of most teams. If given the choice, I would’ve kept Tygra in the armored version of his royal outfit that he wore until he was captured in the first ep.
GI Joe? It’s clearly inspired by Master Chief.
I like Tygra’s left sleeve; always liked that.
I think Tygra looks better in the green personally. It matches his orange fur better I think.
For Panthro, I think he looks fine in blue but I think it’s better to have him in his current colors because there would be too much blue if all the characters were together in a scene.
maybe if the blue were more darker like a deep navy blue it would look better. Red Panthro looks bad ass too IMO.
Personally I like the blue orange combo as they are complimentary colours. I guess the “too much blue” theory is sound… still, I much prefer the classic looks. I was kinda bummed they took Tygra out of his royal outfit - it was awesome.
wow thats awesome!! Much better actually! If they went with this, my gripes about modern panthro would go out the window
Ooh! I like them very much! Much more so than the colors in the current show. For both of them. I totally agree that the green armor looks hideous on Tygra.

I’d also like to see Tygra in black and shades of grey. (hint, hint)
Tygra’s habitat, the kingdom of Thundera, did not look like a jungle to me. Just sayin.’
And while he was in Thundera he did not wear green. He only wore it after he left.
It’s the same color as the machines that attacked. I figure he just made the armor for himself out of the wreckage. Just a guess.
Without even an explanation! That kinda bugged me that all of a sudden they were wearing armour and Tygra, who was critical of Lion-O about Tech, is suddenly wearing tech armour and waving a gun around.
I dont agree with the colours looking ‘bland’ or ‘ridiculous’ or not conducive to their environment… (Cheetarah is all yellows and oranges and browns for crying out loud.)
Why wouldn’t Tygra wear blue armour? After all the rest of the Thunderan army had a blue pallette to their armour… 
I watched this one video on Youtube where Dan Norton (art director) says they spent six months working on Tygra’s look, and that we’ll get the story behind his armor eventually. And that the story behind his new look is “pretty darn fresh” and everything will be explained.
I’m looking forward to that and wondering when it’s gonna happen.

I actually like the green.
They really need a knife strapped somewhere to finish the look. 
It looks good but i can’t see them wear it. The darker colors are just better storywise cause they are not as easy to spot if they are hiding in a forest or someplace dark.

Why wouldn’t he be Prince anymore? You don’t stop being someone’s son just because they died…and you don’t stop being a prince because the intended heir inherited the throne. The kittens also referred to him as Prince Tygra in Ramlak Rising.
And are they doing this on a regular basis…?? not really.

I like Panthro very much, way better than with the red clothes.
I also like Tygra with the blue armor… would have been better if the blue tened to gray IMO, but still like the light blue on him. I don’t hate the green one though, and think both fit him from different angles. With green, he looks more of a soldier / warrior; with blue, he looks more of a noble / prince, which he still is (I agree with Bloom here).
I think the difference is that both green and orange are secondary colors and it “dulls” or “opaques” the character, while blue is a primary one, which combines better with a secondary color like orange because highlights it, than having two secondary colors together (that’s just color theory :D).
I also want to know the story behind his aror though.
