That’s exactly what I am saying “I would not put it past Mumm-Ra to have disguised himself as Cheetara and exploited Tygra’s feelings for the purpose of manipulating Lion-O’s feelings of betrayal”. Also, just because they didn’t show anything of Mumm-Ra after he flew out of the Astral plane doesn’t mean he could have hid somewhere then transformed into Cheetara in secret and snuck back into the village. Also, it wasn’t like the party that was happening occured minutes after they came out and beat back Grune’s forces, it clearly happened in the evening, which would have given Mumm-Ra time to do what I suggested. I have seen a lot of shows that do something plot twisting like this only to show you stuff you didn’t get to see later on to prove it wasn’t what you thought it was.
Heh-heh, I agree with your last comment. How nauseating would would that be if it was Mumm-Ra/Cheetara kissing Tygra? Eew, somebody pass me the 7-Up! :eek:

I really think the “Betrayal” was when Lion-O discoverd that the log didn’t just break but that Tygra Broke it on purpose. Never mind that Tygra did come to his rescue. At that moment Tygra did Betray Lion-O and Lion-O Felt it.
I dont think the “Betrayal” had anything to do with Chetarra Kissing Tygra. As said If he does see that as a betrayal when he allready knew it was, and proclaimed it to be, a Contest then he needs a good slap to the face by Chetarra.
About the love triangle
If I hadn’t read about it on these forums it woulden’t have crossed my mind that there was a love triangle going on in the show.
Cheetara was just supportive and put faith in Lion’o as counterweight to Tygra, that’s it. That Lion’o young as he is thinks something else is going on is okay and natural.
Apart from the wink in the first episode there wasnt any suggestion that Tygra and Cheetara were in love.
IMO this was pretty horrible writing but it doesn’t bother me, give me cameo’s of old characters only and i’m happy 
Also Anet’s exact words were “By evening bell tomorrow,you will know a betrayal from your brother like you have never known.” That does not tell me that Tygra will betray Lion-O, rather Lion-O will think or feel like he has been betrayed by his brother. Its that exact kind of wording for a prophecy that I can easily see the producers coming back later and showing how it did not say Tygra would betray Lion-O. I am still convinced it was Mumm-Ra, it seems pretty obvious to me that this him trying to fragment the group dynamic that had started evolving in order to make the ThunderCats weak.
One hole in your theory is how would Mumm-Ra know of the Flower Tygra gave Chetarra in the past???
The thing that puzzles me was, why would the writers bother to have Anet have a prophecy about this, instead of just a love triangle like before. Unless there is another plot behind all this. Tough that plot may not be tied to Mum-Ra. Even the reviewer at

Anet’s prophecy was a tool the writes used to get Lion-O anxious about the betrayal. Remember, a large part of him was on edge in the Astral Plane because of the vision he got from Anet.
Yeah, but still they don’t need to tie the prophecy with the love triangle. The prophecy can be used for other things. They didn’t use prophecy involving love triangle in previous episodes. It just odd to me. Because Prophecy usually are used to portray somekind of deeper plot in Fantasy or LOTR kinds movies or films.
Why would they need to use prophecies in a prior episode to validate using them now?
Sure they didn’t need to use a prophecy, but I also don’t see any reason for them to avoid it. It just what they came up with.
You might be on to something. And one thing that bugs me is when Cheetara approached Tygra, she mentioned something along the lines “I found out what happened with the both of you in the Astral Plane”. My quoting of her may be wrong, but she did bring that up initially. Exactly how did she find out?
There was no scene with Lion-O telling her completely the events and major reasons for his current bro feud. And since her being an added major factor, especially as a competition piece, she seemed fine with it?
Mumm-Ra is an excellent trickster and a telepath. And as he was shown and admitted to attempting to manipulate their negativity against each other, leaves one to wonder. Was Mumm-Ra able to tap deep into Tygra’s mind far enough to see his childhood memory of Cheetara? When he was disguised as Panthro, there was no glaring sign it was Mumm-Ra until his dark deed was done.
that is a possibility, but if mummra transformed into cheetarah, then that means tygra kissed million year old ass…kinda gross
You are reaching, man. To say that it is obvious just boggles my mind when it seems pretty clear that the scene was the resolution to the love triangle. As Draphin said Mumm-Ra would have no knowledge of Tygra leaving the flower for Cheetara. We also clearly saw Mumm-Ra fly away from the village after his defeat. I don’t think he turned back for a chance to make out with Tygra. If he’s that lonely he will get a puppy.
She was told…? There is obviously a jump in time from where we see Panthro lose consciousness after his ordeal to everyone celebrating that night. They don’t have time to show us every conversation, there are some things that just have to be assumed.
Really? Would they pull a fast one like that? Tygra may die of mortification if that were to happen. 
By that same reasoning their was no scene depicting the Capture of Chetarra. So where was she when all this Kissing was going on. I think we are really grasping at straws here trying to say it isn’t so. But hey if it makes you happy then by all means Speculate away. We will have a while to as this is apparently the end of a Season and who knows when it will start back up.
if there isn’t a plot twist we’ll have to accept that this was a very poorly written triangle .
