This is exactly my problem with another season … they made one way too fast and without thought . the creators of avatar are really talented and thoughtful people and they have yet to disappoint me…but this still doesn’t sound good to me …
and yeah I have to agree , although I like the show alot , while she went through alot of things , Korra really didn’t improve alot since the first few episodes of the show .
It’s not only that they wrote it fast, but since they wrote the first season as a stand-alone mini-series, I think the second season will have nothing to do with what happened in the first season (considering the storyline will probably resolve 100%). This completely goes against the continuity they were so good at in TLA. I’ll still watch it, but I have a really bad feeling for the second season.
Also, the latest previews just made me more disappointed in the handling of the love triangle. Asami is getting screwed over and Korra is being thrown in the middle of them all due to Mako, and they’re making it seem like Mako is doing nothing wrong (which he is).
I’m fairly sure this is Zuko’s grandson we saw at the end of the episode.
They already confirmed that.
Doesn’t seem weird they have the same voice actor for him?
I expected his voice to be lower, but I’m not complaining. Dante Basco’s voice has a high register and he’s a great actor.
All I noticed is that Team Korra finally has some backup.

An interesting theory someone on YouTube:
“What if Korra gets her bending taken away in this finale, and the second book is her trying to regain all of her powers back?”
Although Korra losing her bending would be a great plot twist, trying to fit her learning all 4 elements into 14 episodes will be extremely rushed (which the show already suffers from).
When you loose your bending, you don’t forget how to do it. You just can’t anymore. It’s not there. If she lost it and had to get it back, it wouldn’t be relearning everything. She would have to find a way to open the abilities back up, or maybe find a way to tap into her own energybending to reverse it.
I’m still trying to figure out how Amon can do that in the first place. Only the Avatar is supposed to be able to do that.
All the theories I have heard so far, besides it being Aang’s other son, is very hard to believe because most of them say “OMG IT’S OZAI!” or “IT’S JET!”, when clearly these characters are far too old to have that good of physical fitness. And really? Ozai would be 120-130, and not even Bumi lived that long (I’m assuming).
I’m going to LMAO if it turns out Aang had a illegitimate son that he didn’t know about. :rolleyes:
I wonder how Amon found the turtle who taught Aang how to take away someone’s bending ability?
According to a few sources, the second season is still in the writing process. I guess they’re not too much further along with a second season than ThunderCats!
I’m still skeptical of the second season. It just doesn’t seem like it will be as good as the first, which in itself is nowhere near A:TLA.
Yep , this guy really annoys me . he acts like a total jerk …
But anyway I really liked this spin-off series 
I just hope the next season will be as good . as I just read an interview with the creators yestarday , and they said they still have tons of ideas for stories . so it makes me feel like they weren’t “forced” to write it . they just got the opportunity to do so .
Not only that, in the preview clip Korra talks about how Mako is “incredible”. What has he done to prove himself incredible?

Well , he did take care of her , and is a good fighter . but I guess we are the ones who see how he treats them both objectively .
This hasn’t been very exciting of a finale.
Yep, that was worse than I expected.
And don’t ever get me started on the ending.
That was one of the worst writing jobs I have ever seen on that ending. Dear lord, I almost don’t want another season now.
I would have been happy if she had to relearn how to control the other elements. But NNOOOOO they had to put that.
