I picked UP some Classic line figures from TRU

I’m hoping to have the majority of them before Wave 2 hits!

Bought these

I bought the following and sure enough I’m ready for second wave:

  1. 4 inches- I’ve got all 7 (2 sets for a total of 14)

  2. 6 inches- I bought lion o, panthro, mummra. Mummra is huge ! (2 sets total of 6)

  3. 8 inch classics- tygra and lion-o (5 sets total of 10)

  4. SDCC 2011 8 inch classics bandai (2)

  5. SDCC 2011 lion o with larger sword resin figure (2)

  6. 4 inch deluxe - grune, mummra,tygra, lion o

  7. 2 sets of thunder tank

  8. 2 sets of tower of omen

  9. 2 sets of lizard, lion o, and tygra with vehicles/canon

That’s about it… I’m not buying any sword/claws probably when wave 2 comes they’ll release a better sword.

After those I may wait till Wave 2 and see what is released.

Let me clarify, does does have articulation. But the same as the racer Tygra, not te normal 4" version. I think he has articulation in the neck, shoulder cuts, wrists, knees and hips

Yes I am, but I am being very selective about which ones I buy. Overall I am very disappointed with how poorly this line turned out. I just wish about any other company had the toy license for new Thundercats at this point. Bandai US horribly missed the mark here, and quite frankly I don’t think they deserve the license.

If we could somehow get Figuarts Thundercats, I would be happy though.

Had that Tygra had the same mold as the 4" line Tygra, then I’d appreciate it far more. It’d pretty much be him going invisible. But since it’s that same Lion-O rehash molde..only translucent..ugh.

I haven’t been able to get much honestly. I’m actually reconsidering buying everything twice as I had originally intended. I had recently put up my Ben 10 Collection, to which I approached the same way when I originally started collecting it, and I noticed WHY I stopped buying MIB and opened. To. Much. I have well over 50 4" figures. Only Series 2 of those MIB with some other random Series figures. And that’s not counting the larger 6-8" figures, combination figures, playsets ect.

I have no doubt ThunderCats will go the same route. And it’s going to be a real strain, on my pocket and available space, to buy everything open and MIB. Maybe the first few waves, but I know it’ll be a strain.

I have plans to buy the SDCC Mezco figure..so I guess I won’t be getting much for a while. Also still have a stash of MLP, Ben 10, Pokemon and TCats hidden away at my job’s warehouse that I should be buying soon. XD

I am trying not to but already have the sword. I will get mezco clasic panthro if they make it. Have been thinking about a lion-o but not sure. at Some pohnt I will buy a large mumm-ra possibly a statue. I also could skip all the toys for a panthro statue. When I see a thundercats statue I think damb thats classy. I dont think alot of other people see it that way.
