You don’t get the point I am making. Taking proper inspiration from something would not make it repetitive.

Would not! Just because one takes influence from the older series does NOT mean it would be repetitive! They could still do a continuing story line with the old characters/locations/items. I’ve seen it done before.

Animated was great. My favourites aside from G1 is Beast Wars, Armada and Animated. Prime was pretty good. The Japanese show Masterforce was also pretty good.

Well, mlp and tmnt has some pop culture references and they turned out just fine
MLP is going through seasonal rot and should have ended at season 3. IMO. You seem to fail to realize that MLP and Thundercats as well as TMNT are completely different shows. It might work with one show but that DOES NOT mean it works with everything. For the most part in my opinion pop culture references in shows are OBNOXIOUS and date the show.

I believe that’s what I was getting at. Those sorts of things just wouldn’t really work in thundercats.

Or a reintorduced lone wolf and kid club or rorouni keshin inspired Hachiman.
They did try to make Kanar like Joker with his personality and laugh etc. He appeared far too late in the series and never got enough screen time to become an interesting character. Same with Adicus.
I kind of agree with you on this…but the characters are really likeable and they are still producing some interesting stories. MLP achieved real highs with their characters and stories which is something Thundercats never really did. Far too many hit and miss episodes and it really didn’t pick up until half way through.
I stand it anymore everything is just Mlp this and tmnt that, it’s a complete suck up , you’re still a suck up , all we need is TPTB cult following for Thundercats , and the Just the classic series, the reboot deserves more love, it happen to Futurama and Family guy, it deserves to be revive on Netflix sine CN won’t learned their mistakes, but we think it’s time for Time Warner to recognized that are traitors to our beloved franchise making hollow promises to the fans, and cancelling the new series was the last straw. We just can’t let WB get away with this; it’s time to find away to make Thundercats great again!

Family Guy should never have been revived. The first three seasons were not that great but when they brought it back the humour and characters became even worse.
